3DS!

This is the Lego Spy, and at the moment I am writing this post from my new Nintendo 3DS! I got that and four new Lego books! Four! I also got two new Lego Dino sets! I will be posting about the books in a later post. This is the Lego Spy, out.

Old things end, new ones begin! : continued

So in the last post I told you about some of the new items and sets coming in 2012 but there is more! New Ninjago sets including Lord Garmadon`s cousin Lloyd Garmadon who has control not over skeletons but snakes! The first sets to be sold are: 9441 Kai`s Blade Cycle, 9440 Venomari Shrine, 9442 Jay`s Storm Fighter, 9443 Rattlecopter, and 9444 Cole`s Tread Assault and much more to come! Plus the new theme Super Heroes, here are some of them including: 3 sets with bionicle piecies BatMan, The Joker, and The Green Lantern. Minifig sized sets include: Catwoman Catcycle City, The Batcave, Superman Vs Pow. Armor Lex, Batwing battle over Gotham city, and Batwing and Two Face Chase. Also to come is Dino! But you will have too wait to see that! This is the Lego spy out.

2012! New minifigures series (pics. 1-2) 6, 7, and 8! Also new Star Wars sets (sorry no pics shown if you want too see them click here to accsess the site)! Set 9488 Elite clone trooper & commander droid battle pack. Set 9489 Endor rebel trooper & Imperial trooper battle pack. Those are just a few, Lego is also making a new Star Wars Planet Series! Each set comes with a Lego plastic planet (series 1 includes the Death Star, Tatooine, and Naboo), a Lego vehicle or other item of transportation ( series 1 includes in order of planets: Tie Fighter, Sebulba`s podracer, and a Naboo Starfighter), and a Lego minifigure (in order of vehicles: Tie Fighter pilot, Sebulba, and a Naboo pilot)! Each vehicle and figure can fit in the stand up planet! Keep doing what you do best Lego! This is the Lego spy out.

LU is closing!

Sadly, Lego has made the hard decision to close Lego Universe for good on January 31st . Lego was not able too accumulate the amount of players needed too keep the game open. As a thanks to members if you are still a paying member on December 31st you can play the last month for free! If you bought a 12 month membership in December for example on the 31st you would get a refund for the remaining months on the credit card it was paid for with. New World in Universe!



Marksmen

Lego has introduced a new world in the E3 game winner: Lego Universe! Ninjago arrived on Tuesday, September 20, and appears to be a sucesss! The world incorporates more maelstrom skeletons (many more than crux prime, which origonally had them). Many of them more powerful than before! These include the skeleton trooper, skeleton marksmen, skeleton blacksmith, and skeleton commando on the battlefield (Pic 1.)! But wait theres more, in the storage room of the monastery behind a few miscelaneous boxes, is an entrance to the Ninjago caves! Hidden inside are the skeleton mad scientist, who shoots fatal poison! And the Bone Wolf, beware his howl, it will send a shiver up your spine! Also inside are the four elemental skeletons: Bonezai the skeleton of Ice, Chopov the skeleton of Earth, Krazi the skeleton of Lightening, and Frakjaw the skeleton of Fire! Make sure you get the four weapons of spinjitzu before the skeletons do! This is the Lego Spy, out.

Lego Universe Free to Play!

Lego Universe has (finally) introduced a Free to Play version of the game. Step 1. To download the game free to your computer head to lego.com (click here). Step 2. Click Products at the top of the screen wait for the page to load, click Lego Universe. Tip if you cannot find it click here. Step 3. Once you are at the site click Game Info on the bar at the top of the screen. Step 4. Click Getting Started and a drop down menu will appear click Free to Play on the drop down menu. Step 5. When the page loads click the orange button that says: Free to Play  Download and start playing now*. Step 6. Wait for the application to download. Step 7 (also the most important step). Join the battle for imagination! IMPORTANT: you must have an active lego ID to download the Free to Play Version. *The Free to Play version lets you play as long as you want, but you do not get to play the whole game, it is supposed to give you an idea of what happens in the game. If you want to purchase the game after trying free to play follow these steps:  There are several ways to download the game. 1: you can order it off lego.com. 2: if you are eager to begin and do not want to wait for it to ship you can buy and download it off a site such as Game Stop or other sites which have instant download games. I hope this has given you some thought about trying out Free to Play or buying the game. This is the Lego Spy out.

Lego Universe: continued

So I previously purchased Lego Universe MMOG. I have been playing for 14 days and I am extremely glad I purchased this game. For $10 a month.............It is perfectly worth it. It seems like I have been playing forever (because it's $10 a month). I have collected about fifteen pets, including all three dragon pets: The Bone Dragon, The Fire Dragon, and the the Green Dragon. I am almost at rank 3 and have learned Ningago spingitzu, and have about 25,000 coins, and have completely filled my backpack! All in 14 days! So the Faction I chose is The Venture League and chose Dare Devils over Buccaners, and I am glad I did. If I start another character I would Choose the Paradox Space Maurader.

UNIVERSE!

The Lego Spy has purchased the Lego Universe MMOG. Before we went on a week-long trip I ordered Lego Universe for 9.99, as you probably already know it came with the CD-ROM and 1 month of game time, but I got the CD-ROM, 1 month, and a special promotion (which I am proud to anounce is still going but for a limited time only) of a 1 month game card worth 9.99! So I got the CD-ROM+2 months of game time. Look's like the Lego spy's spying has paid off!!! Oh and one more thing, in August play it for free, and complete the first 2 stages of Lego Universe!!!  

Lego KidsFest!

I (the Lego spy that is) have just visted Lego KidsFest at Pittsburgh, PA. In this post I will explain what was there and what I did. First we went and parked and walked over to the building and crossed this really cool water feature with a bridge. We walked across and entered the building and went up the escalator and went into the room, and in front of me stood Batman (pic 1). Then we walked over to the Creation Nation. We were there for about 15 minutes. I built an alien home (pic 2). Then a Lego staff person walked up, asked me what it was, and took it over and set it in the United States. Then we walked over and saw some of the life-sized sculptures. (pic 3,4). Then we walked over to the Lego KidsFest Marketplace!... And everthing was overpriced.

NASA and Lego

Legos are going to space! On the second-to-last space shuttle journey to the space station the space shuttle Endeavour will be taking three items to space: worms, squids, and thirteen Lego sets! They will be on the news to get kids interested in science they will also show the footage in schools around the world!

Alien Conquest! Aliens have attacked earth and are abducting humans! Can the ADU(alien defense unit) stop them or is it already too late?!
